VeloCloud Speaks Out on SD-WAN

June 13, 2017

It’s been a busy summer for VeloCloud.

Last week the company’s CEO and co-founder, Sanjay Uppal, was in Dallas speaking at the SD-WAN Strategies for Success event staged by Light Reading (News - Alert). This morning he was part of the CEO/Founder Series–Next Generation Telecom Infrastructure panel at Rutberg FM 2017 in Half Moon Bay, Calif.

And this week Uppal and the rest of the VeloCloud team are hosting more than 200 of the company’s channel partners from around the world. VeloCloud and its partners have gathered in California for an event called VeloCloud Achieve 2017.

“Our growing global network of channel partners is critical to the success of VeloCloud,” said Uppal, “and we are pleased to bring such a strongly represented group to this event here in the Bay Area. We look forward to providing training and skills to help our partners continue to grow their businesses, as well as an opportunity for fun and socializing with their peers.”

VeloCloud Achieve 2017 will provide VeloCloud Registered Partners with comprehensive sales and technical knowledge. They can use that knowledge to assist their enterprise customers, and employ SD-WAN in service provider networks and offerings.

In addition to the enterprise and service provider sessions and other events, VeloCloud Achieve 2017 will feature sports great Ronnie Lott as one of its speakers. Lott is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and four time Super Bowl champion.

Speaking of awards, VeloCloud has been named a Gartner (News - Alert) Cool Vendor in Enterprise Networking. It’s the recipient of Frost & Sullivan’s Award for Product Leadership in SD-WAN. It has been presented with the Best of VMworld 2016 in Networking & Virtualization award. It garnered the 2016 SDN Technology of the Year award from the MEF (News - Alert). At Mobile World Congress last year it received the IOPN Best Service or Solution Award. And TMC has presented VeloCloud with the Cloud Computing Product of the Year Award.
