SD-WAN Week in Review: Versa, Riverbed, GTT & More

Recent research from Quadrant Knowledge Solutions named Versa Networks as the 2018 SD-WAN Company of the Year. The study, “Market Outlook: Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), 2018-2023) offers a thorough examination of a space stealing the networking spotlight.  "Quadrant's team believes that, with the advanced SD-WAN technology coupled with the right competitive and growth strategy, Versa Networks has the potential to cause major disruption in the marketplace," stated the study. This week, GTT completed the acquisition of Interoute. GTT is a cloud networking provider to clients around the globe, and with the purchase of Interoute it gains one of the most sizable independent fiber networks in Europe. Complete coverage is HERE.

Masergy announced the addition of Intelligent Service Control with Global Bandwidth (News - Alert) on Demand for Managed SD-WAN. Managed SD-WAN Users can access the ability to turn up or down bandwidth by location via user portal. This week, Inseego and Riverbed (News - Alert) Technologies announced a joint venture in developing an enterprise-grade IoT solution certified with Riverbed’s SteelConnect SD WAN solution.
