AireSpring Adds SD-WAN Expert to Head Global SD-WAN Efforts
The networking woes of worldwide organizations are making their way into the rearview mirror courtesy of next generation networking technologies, like software-defined WAN (SD-WAN). This maturing technology is spread its wings, and one of its global leaders appointed new leadership.
This week, AireSpring (News - Alert) announced the appointment of Dave Pierce to the role of director of global SD-WAN. The leading managed services provider selected a subject matter savant to support its efforts moving forward.
Pierce’s responsibilities include supporting the channel and engineering teams to support mounting demand for AireSpring’s SD-WAN services. Additionally, he will work with teams to facilitate and augment the build out of AireSpring’s global SD-WAN.
The industry vet offers unique insight as a resource – from working in various global markets and multi-national organizations, to his rich experience working in WAN optimization and content delivery networks. Long story short, the channel should continue to see expansion as a result of robust technology and maximized opportunities.
