Buoyant Named a 2018 Cool Vendor in Application Architecture, Infrastructure and Integration by GartnerSAN FRANCISCO, May 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Buoyant, creator of open source service mesh projects Linkerd and Conduit, today announced that it has been included in the May 2018 Cool Vendors Report for Application Architecture, Infrastructure and Integration, by Gartner, Inc. Buoyant defined the "service mesh" category when it was founded in 2015 by former Twitter engineers William Morgan and Oliver Gould, who saw first-hand the challenges that arise when moving from a monolithic architecture to microservices.
