InfoVista Unveils SD-WAN Service Management Solution
As software’s insatiable appetite for disruption continues to transform operations, burgeoning areas of development are enjoying the spoils. SD-WAN is serving as one of the primary benefactors from this software-based revolution. Capable of supporting the network demands of today and developed to scale to the requirements of tomorrow, it is an area of innovation to keep a keen eye.
This week, InfoVista (News - Alert) announced the arrival of IpanemaGO. The cloud-based service management platform for its Ipanema application-aware SD-WAN solution makes deployment faster and more user friendly than before. Using a SaaS (News - Alert) model, the product can be easily delivered, and empower enterprises to embrace digital transformation.
“IpanemaGO provides easy access to InfoVista’s application-aware SD-WAN solution,” stated Sylvain Quartier, senior vice president, products & markets, InfoVista. “Moving Ipanema’s (News - Alert) central management platform to an easy-to-use cloud-based interface significantly speeds up time to deploy while driving down costs, enabling partners to reach more enterprises at a lower barrier to entry. InfoVista allows its partners and their customers to rely on IpanemaGO to protect the performance of bandwidth-heavy applications like Microsoft (News - Alert) Office 365™ for enterprise networks of any size and complexity.”
Leveraging the IpanemaGO interface MSPs and VARs can deploy, operate and manage the SD-WAN solution. And, because it is delivered via SaaS model, upfront costs are kept to a minimum, deployment is quick and painless and ROI is experienced in real time. The improved access to the inner workings of the Ipanema SD-WAN allows firms to instantly gain control over application performance.
Frank Valdor, head of network & communication, DB Schenker noted, “It was incredibly fast to provision and less expensive overall. We deployed our Hybrid WAN very quickly and can now easily leverage Ipanema's application visibility and control capabilities to more effectively prioritize our network traffic and guarantee our business-critical application performance from all of our branch locations.”
InfoVista is one of many firms making strides in the SD-WAN space today, grabbing hold of the software-defined transformation taking place.
