The SD-WAN market is experiencing accelerated growth as enterprises and communications service providers adopt the technology to connect remote locations. According to International Data Corporation (IDC (News - Alert)), the market will grow at an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 90 percent over the 2015-2020 forecast period surpassing the $6 billion mark in 2020. For companies that provide SD-WAN services, having the necessary technology in place so Managed Services Providers (MSPs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) can offer solutions to customers without additional resources is essential. Elfiq Networks announced it is adding more solutions to its SD-WAN portfolio to give MSPs more tools to integrate the company's technology.

Elfiq Networks develops technologies to improve the network performance and business continuity of organizations with innovative link balancing, cloud computing and bandwidth management. This has allowed its customers to leverage simultaneous ISPs, mix public and private links for added flexibility, seamless failover, increased throughput and smarter WAN path selection.

When the company started offering SD-WAN, it used its expertise in network optimization to create Elfiq Central, which was designed to give organizations with multiple outlets a single interface so MSPs can monitor the network of their clients and take appropriate action when there is a problem. Using the Elfiq Networks technology, clients and MSPs can deploy Hybrid WAN or SD-WAN architectures and bring in the features within Elfiq Central to scale and optimize client networks by replicating, modifying and distributing configurations across individual or multiple networks by relying on a comprehensive tagging system with a cost-effective solution.

The new options also includes APIs to provide added flexibility for MSPs that are looking to integrate Elfiq Networks technology within their SD-WAN portfolio with the LBX400 Series hardware. According to the company, the Elfiq Central zero-touch provisioning and configuration distribution features makes it just as easy to deploy a five hundred site WAN as it is a single device.

"By definition, SD-WAN deployments involve multiple sites. Larger networks may mean bigger revenues for VARs, but they also mean bigger issues, and bigger workloads. With Elfiq Central’s zero-touch provisioning and configuration distribution features, deploying a five hundred site WAN is no harder than deploying a single device," said Martin Deveault, VP of Research & Development at Elfiq Networks.

Elfiq Networks has programs that allow value added resellers to become either Authorized Partners or Elite Partners so they can capture opportunities in the expanding bandwidth optimization and SD-WAN markets.
