The cloud age is here, and this transformational technology is taking a seat in the hierarchy of digital needs. From ensuring the performance of SaaS (News - Alert) applications to connecting disparate branch offices, the solution is SD-WAN. This pocket-friendly, networking model is the next generation in networking, leading a cloud revolution.

Today, GCI (News - Alert) announced CloudFlex, a managed SD-WAN solution. The digital age introduces much in the way of network performance, and in selecting a managed solution organizations can avoid the complexity of digital transformation and keep an eye on core company initiatives.

“With CloudFlex, organizations can leverage world-class, cloud-based managed service solutions that will make their businesses more nimble and efficient,” noted Martin Cary, SVP, GCI Business. “As organizations in nearly every sector shift to cloud-based networking and digital services, GCI is committed to delivering technologies that create new capabilities, fine-tune operations and shrink IT overhead, all while providing expertise and around-the-clock customer service that is second-to-none.”

SD-WAN is a key stepping stone in bringing an organization into the cloud era. A field that was once a handful of startups, with only one or two heavy hitters, is quickly expanding. Events like SD-WAN Expo highlight the growth in this quickly expanding space.

This week, GCI’s Alex Eissler is participating in the SD-WAN Expo panel “The Economic Benefits of SD-WAN.” Taking place on February 15 at 3pm, the session will dive into how the burgeoning technology impacts your bottom line.

The cloud is leading a revolution in networking, with SD-WAN playing a starring role. What’s in your network?
