ADVA, EXFO Integrate to Deliver Managed SD-WAN

Software-defined networking solutions are receiving much in the way of attention these days, with SD-WAN stealing the spotlight. As we heard over and over at last week’s SD-WAN Expo, this burgeoning technology is transforming networking and delivering on the hype of a market pegged for a multi-billion valuation in the coming years.

EXFO (News - Alert) and ADVA announced a new partnership this week that brings together a network testing, monitoring and analytics firm with an open networking, cloud and mobile services firm, integrating EXFO’s NFV Service Assurance solution with the ADAV Ensemble open virtualization suite to offer managed SD-WAN services.

"Managed SD-WAN represents a tremendous growth opportunity for CSPs looking to transform their network from physical to virtual and to drive new revenue," said Prayson Pate, CTO of ADVA (News - Alert)'s Ensemble division. The solution delivers CSPs and customers improved flexibility, visibility and control within the network to ensure optimal traffic routing, application performance and quality of service (QoS).
