IPFONE Adds Cisco SD-WAN to Arsenal

Recent research indicates the SD-WAN space continues its highly competitive nature. This transformational technology is offering enterprises a gateway to the cloud as well as enhanced performance and control over the WAN.




IPFONE announced the addition of Cisco’s SD-WAN powered by Meraki to its offered solution suite. The Cisco (News - Alert) SD-WAN allows multi-location organizations of all sizes the ability to provide exceptional efficiency, management in addition to the perks of a user friendly deployment.

It’s no surprise that SD-WAN is seeing time in the sun, as the cloud becomes a necessary component of the modern business landscape upgrading the WAN is a necessity in order to find the flexibility, scalability, bandwidth, performance and security demanded.

Cisco is a preeminent provider of technology solutions, and its SD-WAN suite is no slouch. And as the cloud era evolves the meteoric rise of this quickly maturing technology is sure to stay its course. For IPFONE it’s time to take advantage of a fertile space, with research indicating some 42 percent of companies are looking to implement software defined networking and 30 percent of companies will deploy SD-WAN technology in their branches by 2019.
