Tolly Group Certifies First SD-WAN Platform
It’s easy to list capabilities. It’s easy to tout innovation and make pledges on product performance. Third party validation is critical to lending credibility to these claims, and submitting to testing is an integral first step.
128 Technology announced the 128T Networking platform has completed evaluation and is now certified by the Tolly Group. The SD-WAN Expo sponsor earned passing grades in each area tested, making it the first SD-WAN vendor to earn Tolly certification.
“For third-party validation of the performance of IT products and solutions, it doesn’t get any more credible than The Tolly Group (News - Alert), and that’s why we commissioned them to evaluate the 128T Networking Platform,” explained Ritesh Mukherjee, VP of Product Management at 128 Technology (News - Alert). “Tolly’s engineers have exacting standards for performance. That the 128T Session Smart router passed with flying colors is no surprise, but it is further validation that we’ve built a powerful solution that delivers tunnel-free networking with zero-trust security baked in, and can be easily deployed in the cloud.”
The 128T platform went through the paces, in both head-end and branch router failover/recovery scenarios that triggered system failures, which the platform was more than capable of overcoming, proving resiliency.
The Tolly team took the 128T router infrastructure to put maintenance and operational capabilities, testing command line interface functions, backup/restore and more. In addition, Tolly engineers confirmed the ability to deploy 128T routers in the cloud.
The Tolly Group tested scalability by creating a head-end scenario with hundreds of thousands of sessions in addition to a remote office scenario, which 128T navigated both exceptionally.
