While the pandemic presses on, business must like “the show”, must go on. This is it: time for SD-WAN to shine. Spirits are high for 2021, and positive SD-WAN market projections for the coming are hopefully harbingers of good tidings.

BNP Paribas selected Orange Business Services to transform operations across its more than 1,800 bank branches in France. The SD-WAN solution promises an enhanced end user experience and a more modern, agile network infrastructure.

The Flexible SD-WAN is the product of a close collaboration between BNP Paribas and Orange Business Services, and delivers a custom design comprised of a prioritized feature set. The resulting solution can rapidly employ dynamic routing and path selection, as well as robust scalability. The solution also delivers comprehensive network monitoring, troubleshooting and centralized management within the fully secure hybrid network infrastructure.

"It was paramount for us to choose a partner who already had proven experience implementing and operating SD-WAN solutions. Orange Business Services (News - Alert) stood out as this trusted partner. In addition to their IT expertise, the Orange teams demonstrated a great ability to understand our business challenges, and they knew what needed to be done to support our end-to-end digital transformation. This close collaboration between our teams from the very beginning of the project was one of the keys to its success and to a smooth roll out," said Bernard Gavgani, Chief Information Officer at BNP Paribas Group.

The digital transformation initiative involves 3,600 access lines, underpinning the priority of business continuity, and includes firewalls to enhance security stature.
