Orange Business Services (News - Alert) and Fortinet announced a partnership integrating Fortinet’s security driven networking portfolio into the Orange telco cloud infrastructure to create a robust SASE offering.

The SASE services promise current SD-WAN customers more value, providing a seamless approach with built-in integration and automation to deliver real-time service updates and optimized network performance.

For Orange and Fortinet (News - Alert), the SASE foray is natural extension to its Flexible SD-WAN based on Fortinet SD-WAN which gives the enterprise gains access to cloud-native transformation at scale, delivering further agility and resiliency.

All types of enterprises can find piece of mind in an enforced security posture and streamlined management. And, those choosing to work from anywhere receive the same cloud optimized performance as those based in the office.

It’s SASE or bust in the enterprise, as zero trust is no longer an optional undertaking and security is absolutely paramount. Fortinet isn’t just making the news on the partner front.

Global headlines are putting security into perspective. Fortinet joined a cadre of technology vendors and service providers on Monday by suspending operations in Russia in support of Ukraine.

Ken Xie, Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Executive Officer at Fortinet stated, “Like many around the world, we are watching what’s happening in Ukraine with great concern and as a result are compelled to take action. We regret the impact this will have on our employees, partners, and customers who are adversely impacted by the actions of the Russian government.”
