Meriplex Makes Vergent Purchase Public

Today, managed IT and SD-WAN provider Meriplex Communications announced the acquisition of Vergent Communications on May 1, 2020.

Founded nearly 30 years ago as Fluent Systems, Vergent was born as the firm’s telecommunications division in 2004 and today offers data and voice communications to businesses here in the U.S. The purchase is a rung in Meriplex’s long term growth strategy, as the managed services provider will continue to push presence, in new regions with track record of an award-winning, industry leader.
