SD-WAN Week in Review: Dell EMC, SoTel, Versa & More

FeaturedCustomers released the Winter 2018 Customer Success Report, which named Versa Networks Top Performer in the SD-WAN category. The award is only given to those with strong market presence, and the support of customer success content. “Being named a Top Performer in FeaturedCustomers’ Customer Success Report for SD-WAN is not only a strong testament to our technical innovation and leadership in the rapidly evolving SD-WAN segment, but validation that our solution improves the customer experience,” said Kumar Mehta, founder and CDO of Versa Networks. InfoVista (News - Alert) announced a collaborative agreement with SoTel Systems to enable the delivery of SD-WAN and application performance solutions from the cloud to SoTel’s small and mid-size enterprise and service provider customers in Latin America, Canada and the United States. “SoTel is uniquely delivering to small and mid-size businesses InfoVista’s powerful application-aware SD-WAN capabilities, which, until now, were only accessible to large enterprises,” said Sylvain Quartier, SVP Digital Enterprise Products Strategy, InfoVista. This week, Siemens chose to upgrade infrastructure with a six-year contract with Orange Business Services (News - Alert) to migrate its global infrastructure to a more agile, flexible and dynamic SD-WAN network. With the newly deployed SD-WAN in place, Siemens can connect its 1,500 locations across 94 countries, enabling cloud applications and IoT devices. The full story is HERE.
